Jet Laggged

I am now writing from my new home in Aalborg. The address is below:
Brandevej 10
lejl. 30
9220 Aalborg ΓΈ, Denmark

Unfortunately I left my cable for my camera at home so until I find a replacement I will not be able to post any pictures : ( However I will continue to talk about my adventures here in Denmark. After boarding my plane in Logan at 2:00pm I finally arrived in Aalborg around 10:00am the next day. The flight included layovers in DC and in Copenhagen but they were not long so it was not terrible. However DC does not know what to do with snow, Boston go the storm a day after DC and the airport was clean when I left at 2:00 however at 5:45 when I left Dulles they were still cleaning up from the snow. In fact they we picking it up and putting it into dump trucks or even better there were using these giant machines to melt it which is funny because later that day it would surely turn to ice... Anyways I lucked out and had a ride scheduled from the airport to the Student House to get my keys and also luckily my apartment was ready for me so I could move right in. I had to wait a little because the guy from Seattle that lived there last semester was apparently a slob and the janitor was having to do a lot of clean up. After moving in an a very brief grocery shop I passed out on my bed. I woke up and then went out to the common area to meet some of team people living in the building (50 little apartments open to one common area). Surprisingly I had a lot of energy probably because I was still six hours behind but we left around midnight to take a taxi into town. However I may note now that I returned back to my apartment at 3 am and slept until 4:45 pm (14hours) on Saturday. As you can guess yesterday (saturday) I did very little other than hang around and meet more people at least one of which will be in my classes. Today however I am better rested and more ambitious, I went out this morning with some of the other people new to the complex and went on a more significant grocery shop and now I am going to check out the campus. Got to go more to come later.

Velkommen (Welcome)

As promised here is my blog, designed to serve as a travel journal which I will use to keep everyone updated with my experiences in Denmark. I plan to post pictures and short descriptions either weekly or every time I travel or do something worth sharing to you. Feel free to write comments and ask questions etc.. I will probably not be using Facebook as much as when I was home, so if you wish to contact me either try skype (rdarlow13) or email (rdarlow@uvm.edu). If you have any suggestions on places to go or things to do do not hesitate to inform me. At this point I am packed and ready to go and I am praying the snow will not interfere with my travel plans.
